Aerial Dance and Theater Workshop Trio
Workshops for aerialists, dancers, and physical theater makers who want to better understand relationship and character in the way they communicate stories to their audience. Aerial Dance, Theater, & Improv A dance warm-up, heart-opener games, solo character work, and creative ways to allow yourself the vulnerability to become a strong character working as a valuable part of the ensemble. Making the Box, Levels and Space in Aerial Movement It's not just up and down! Explore physics, stage presence, character and breath within our settings and spaces to expand your storytelling and audience connection. Relationship Vs. Effort: More Than Tricks Lovely technique. Gorgeous drop. Wow, so strong! I see the effort you put into your work. Now tell me a story. Help me believe it. What do you really want to say and how does the apparatus help you say it? Aerial Dance Class
Learn the basics in a fun, no pressure environment! We'll warm up, talk about safety, then get to sampling skills and technique on the dance trapeze, lyra, and fabric sling. Open Practice for 16+
Open Practice time is just that- time to practice what you've learned or already know, get that strength training in, do your piece on repeat for an hour so you really get to know it, and connect with community! Bring your aerial, juggling, physical theater, acro skills to practice and connect with our Portland community! Mondays 8-9:30pm Thursdays 11-1, $10 donation @The Building

Aerial Sling Class
Come swing and spin with us on the fabric sling! We'll start with an aerial yoga warm up then learn the 6-skill, an easy 6-move routine that introduces learners to the hammock, spinning, swinging, and dropping techniques of an aerial fabric sling. A good climb is the solid base every aerialist needs. Join us on the trapeze, sling and silks to work on your climbs in a joyful and supportive setting. Wednesdays 10-10:45am Starts January 21 @The Building $20 drop-in/$72 per 4wk session
